Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) Degree:

Duration: 8 Semesters (4 years)
Eligibility: Pass in Pre-university or (10+2) examination, with 50% aggregate marks (45% for Reserved categories) in Physics, Mathematics and one of following as optional subjects: Chemistry, Biology or Bio-Technology. English should be one of the subjects of study.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree:

Duration :6 semesters (3 years)

Eligibility: Any Bachelor’s degree with 50% average marks in the aggregate of the years of degree examinations. Should have studied one of the following subjects at degree level or at (10+2)level:

Mathematics/ Statistics / Computer Science / Computer Programming / Computer Applications/Business Mathematics / Business Statistics.

For MBA and MCA Seats :

1. 50% Seats : Through state government PGCET Entrance Test conducted by KEA, Belgaum

3. Karnataka Management Aptitude Test invites for admission into MBA & MCA Courses offered by Self Financing, University affiliated, AICTE approved Colleges in Karnataka. The association has 99 Colleges as members participating in the KMAT 2011. The KMAT Entrance Test is open to all categories of students throughout the country and is conducted at various Centres in Karnataka. M.Tech Seats

Through state government PGCET Entrance Test conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority.

Duration: 4 Semesters (2 years)

(i) For M. Tech in Computer Science and Engg:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engg./Electronics & Communication Engg./, Electrical & Electronics Engg./Information Science & Engg./, Instrumentation/ Telecommunication Engg./, or equivalent degree; AMIE in appropriate branch. GATE: CS, EC, EE, IN, IT.

(ii) For M.Tech in Network & Internet Engg:

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore invites application for Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET 2012) for MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Arch and M.E courses Commencing in the session 2012.

Eligibility:
Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 50% of marks from a recognized university.

Note:
The candidates with valid GATE score need not appear for PGCET-2012 for admission to M.E. / M.Tech. / M. Arch / MBA (Infrastructure Management) courses, but they have to fill and submit the PGCET-2012 application form for admission for what is VALID GATE Score? Please visit KEA Website.

If a candidate likes to apply for more than one course (eg. for both MBA and MCA) then he/ she is required to apply accordingly as per the instructions. First the candidate has to enter the required details in the application online then download the Challan and pay the required fee in any of the branches given in the Website, Then come back with the Challan with stamp and seal on the Challan from the payee bank for having paid the requisite fee. Enter the journal number and complete the application details.

Important Dates:
Last date of entry of application: June 28, 2012.
Last date to pay the fees in the bank: June 30, 2012.
Last date to upload the challan journal details fro having paid fees: July 02, 2012.
Downloading of admission tickets: July 20, 2012.
