MANTHAN is a national-level Data Science hackathon challenging participants to transform complex data into meaningful insights, intelligent solutions, and real-world impact. Inspired by the continuous flow of real-time data, it represents the profound effort required to extract truth from chaos.

Rules &
Regulations

Eligibility & Teams +
Open to all students across India. Teams must consist of 2 to 4 members. Cross-college teams are permitted. Registration is confirmed upon payment of the ₹1,750 fee per team.
Hackathon & Development +
The event is a strict 24-hour on-campus development sprint. Problem statements will be released on-site. All significant data processing, model training, and coding must occur during these 24 hours.
AI, Tools & Data +
Open-source datasets and AI assistants (for syntax/debugging) are allowed. However, the core architectural logic and model design must be original. Plagiarism results in immediate disqualification.
Evaluation & Submissions +
Submissions must include the source code repository and a brief presentation deck. Projects are judged on model accuracy, innovation, technical complexity, and real-world impact by a panel of industry experts.
