Funding

In last three years, submitted more than 40+ research & other proposals seeking funding from Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, AICTE, KCTU, Govt. of Karnataka and eight proposals were selected & obtained funding to tune of Rs.3.42 crores. Following are the funding received:

  1. Received funding of 2.87 Crore over a period of 5 years for setting up NewGen IEDC under the aegis of NSTEDB, DST, Govt. of India
  2. Received Rs.20000/- from DST-NIMAT project under aegis of NSTEDB, DST, Govt. of India for organizing Entrepreneurship  Awareness Camp
  3. Received Rs.100000/- from SERB, DST, Govt of India for organizing International Conference in ECE/TCE department
  4. Received Rs.300000/- from AICTE-ISTE for organizing Faculty development workshop by department of  ISE
  5. Received Rs.156000/- from DST for organizing  two days Science Academies lecture workshop on “Emerging Trends on Nanoscience and  Nanotechnology” during September 2018.
  6. Got sanction order for Rs. 26.25 Lakhs over a period of 5 years for setting up Technology Business Incubation Center (TBI) under the aegis of KCTU, Govt. of Karnataka with grant of Rs. 26.25 Lakhs
  7. Proposal is submitted for funding for U.S.-India Joint Clean Energy Research and Development Center. This is as Consortium between India and USA wherein there are about 14 Institutions, one company from India and 5 from USA is joined together. From India, IITs, NITS, and premier institutions are ther and JNNCE is only college from private engineering college from entire India. Project is from Electric Engineering department for Solar Smart Grid management and grant asked is Rs.1,57,00,000/- for five years.. Application is submitted on 12th Oct 2016. Lead University is Toledo University in USA and in last round we haven’t selected
  8. Project Proposal under DHI-TPEM Technology Platform for Electric Mobility under DST and Consortia is formed between JNNCE, Smart Energy Solutions, Mysore, CSIO – CSIR, BITS, Pilani, IITM, Ann Arbor Michigan, Kinetic Motors, Volvo submitted with proposal value of Rs.1 crore and in last round we were not selected
