We, at J.N.N. College of Engineering, Shimoga have dedicated Training and placement cell. The Training and Placement Cell is one of the integral part of our college. Training & Placement activities are organized throughout the year with a view to prepare the students to appear the campus recruitment process with confidence.

 The first year engineering students are encouraged to participate in various competitions such as debate, group discussion, power point presentation, essay writing etc. in order to enhance their confidence, reading, writing and communication skills. Students of second year engineering are trained on basic language skills in the well developed Language laboratories of the institute.  To prepare and train aspiring learners to face campus recruitment, the third year engineering students are provided with exhaustive training with relevance to communication skills, aptitude test and overall development for personal & professional grooming. These training programs give the students tips on how to crack aptitude, group discussion, interview skills and resume preparation. 

J.N.N. College of Engineering, Shimoga have network of more than 120 companies. We have decentralized the T&P activity by allocating Departmental T&P coordinators so that the related activities can be communicated to each and every individual.

We have dedicated software SUPERSET which registers all details of students including academics and students are directly get information of placement schedule through this software.

The cell also educates the students with various career opportunities in different areas such as Public Sector, Armed forces and Government Sector services by conducting guest lecture regularly.

INFRASTRUCTURE AND FACILITIES:

JNNCE is having the following infrastructure facilities to conduct training program and campus recruitment.

Seminar Halls / Auditorium:  Spacious Seminar Hall to conduct Training & Placement activities and also modern auditorium for Pre-Placement Presentations by the Corporates.

Discussion / Interview Cabins: These cabins are equipped with internet facilities. Corporates can conduct group discussions, face to face technical & HR interview in these rooms.

Executive Training Center: has the capacity to accommodate 50 students with cluster seating, LCD, Computer with internet, Plug-in for internet connection, etc., for the Hands-on technical training for the students and faculties.
