JNNCE is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). College is accredited by NBA for Civil, Mechanical, ECE, CSE, EEE, ISE, ETE branches and accredited by NAAC – ‘A’ grade. The college offers 4 year BE courses in ten branches of engineering as in table below and with intake shown:

• 45 % of the seats will be filled by Government of Karnataka through Karnataka Examination Authority with CET ranking
• 30% of the seats will be filled through COMEDK
• 25% seats through Management quota
• In addition to sanctioned intake, 10% seats are allotted under lateral entry quota
• Also, 5% seats are allotted by KEA under Super Numarory Quota (SNQ) as per Govt order
• Few of the students are allotted by AICTE under PMSS quota for J&K students.

Duration:

• 4 years (8 Semesters)

Eligibility:

• Students who have passed PUC/10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects Chemistry /Computer Science / Electronics/ Biotechnology / Biology, with at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category as per Government order) in the above subjects taken together.
• Lateral Entry to Second Year Bachelor of Engineering (B.E): Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution, with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.
• For admission under management quota, students should compulsorily appeared in CET/COMEDK/JEE or any other entrance test for professional program.

11. SSP-ID for Scholarship Purpose (if applicable)
12. Blood Group of the Candidate

JNNCE Admissions for the year 2026-27 is open for both Undergraduate programs.
