Structured courses with special emphasis on advanced topics such as DBMS, Software Engineering, Computer Graphics and Multimedia applications, prepare prospective IT professionals to the challenges of the future. The drive behind the department is the dedication and commitment of a highly qualified & experienced faculty supported by excellent infrastructure facilities with high-tech labs resulting in excellent university results every year. Several national and international research papers and books have been Published by the faculty members.
Professional external training agency provide exclusive Soft Skill training programme for each student in every semester to improve their skill set such as analytical & technical aptitude, professional skills, communication skills and interview skills. Student mentor scheme/counseling system ensures adequate monitoring and guidance of student's academic and non academic performance and their progress. Campus interviews from reputed Multinational Companies are arranged for placements. MCA Forum of the department provide platform for professional activities and interaction between current and old students during Alumni meets to share their industry expectations and experiences.

  • Natyashree K Selvam and Ms.Sarja Chinmayee, students of MCA participated in Natyanjali Dance Festival held at Chidambaram, TamilNadu, on the occasion of Mahashivarathri and attended International Dance Festival at Indonesia and secured first place in Bharatnatyam.
  • 4th Semester MCA students have participated in an technical competition “SEMAPHORE 2019”  a South Indian level IT Fest held on 1st and 2nd March 2019, Organized by department of MCA, NMAMIT, NITTE and Mr. Koushik J G & Mr. Sachin B Patil  won first place in Cipher Chase-Treasure Hunt event
