JNNCE Chapter of IEI, arranges events to keep updating the technologies, improvement of skills, personality development, community development, visit to industries and cultural activities. It organises, yearly event TECHZONE - National Level Technical Symposium and is being organized since from 2002. 2019

• Engineers Day 2018 was celebrated on 30^th October 2018. Sri Ashok vasnad,  Chief Engineer, Bhadra CADA was the chief guest.  Sri A S Vishwanatha President National Education Society and Sri S N Nagaraja Secretary of NES were the chief guests. H R Mahadevaswamy, principal presided over the function.

• Women’s day was celebrated at JNNCE organized by IEI students chapter on 15^th March 2019 ,Ms Sahana S Hadimani, Assistant Commissioner of Shivamogga City Corporation and Raksha rao Obsterician &Gynaecologist were the chief guests. Sri S N Nagaraja Secretary of NES was the guest of honour. Dr. H R Mahadevaswamy, principal presided over the function.
                 

Workshops

• Two days workshop on Adobe Photoshop was organized for students of our college on 2.2019 and 1.3.2019.Mr.Shrikanth R. Naik, Santhosh and abhay were the coordinators.

• Two days workshop on ETHICAL HACKING was organized on 16^th and 17^th March 2019.Mr Naveen of Thynkryt solutions and an alumni of our college was the resource person.

Techzone 2k19

      Techzone, a national level Technical symposium conducted every year at Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering Campus for in-house and other engineering students from various Engineering colleges across state and other states with the objective of bringing out hidden talents amongst students community. Students of our college are encouraged to participate in Technical paper presentation competitions, Technical quiz, model building, Design and development of circuits, Electronic gadgets, Agricultural engineering models, Eco- friendly energy conservation projects and Engineering Drawing competitions, etc., Students are motivated to exhibit their skills and talents in their respective disciplines through innovative and cost effective approaches.

The activities and events conducted by  JNNCE IEI chapter is helping staff and students in improving their teaching-learning, knowing the latest technologies, improvement in their leadership skills, connecting to professionals outside the institute, attending seminars, workshops, conference etc.
