Under the JNNCE-CIE (Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship) and JNNCE- NewGen IEDC organized many events, activities to inculcate the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship amongst S&T students, enhance Industry-Academia interaction.
Innovation Day Celebration:
On 15/10/2019 conducted Innovation Day due to the commemoration of Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Scientist , Ex-President of India, who made a lot of innovations about science & technology. Students known about the importance of innovation in development of nation and about the presentation of Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam to India.
Outreach Programme & Ideation and Lateral Thinking Workshop:
On 13/11/2019 to 14/11/2019 conducted two days Outreach Programme & Ideation and Lateral Thinking Workshop. Here Students motivated about Self-awareness, goal setting, emotional & Time management, also learned about creative problem solving technique, required qualities for successful entrepreneurs.
DREAMZ- Student Interaction Programme:
On 30/11/2019 conducted DREAMZ- Student Interaction Programme. Our Indian cricket celebrities such as Venkatesh Prasadh, IPL Player Bharath Chipli, Kannada Commentary expert Srinivasa Prasadh address the students and motivate them regarding about innovations and confidence required for successful life.. Students and faculties interact about innovation, dream in our life, successful stories from successful persons.
Awareness Program on Sustainability Enterprise Award & Jagriti Yatra:
On 30/03/2019 conducted awareness program on sustainability enterprise award and Jagriti Yatra. Students got information about Jagriti Yatra journey, which provides opportunity to spend more time with successful entrepreneurs & also explained about the facilities provided during journey.
Entrepreneurship Boot Camp:
On 29-08-2019 conducted Boot Camp program, participants known about how to work about their idea, how to write ideation canvas, product canvas, business canvas in an effective manner.
Two weeks Entrepreneurship Awareness Program
On 16/12/2019 to 28/12/2019 Here participants known about initiatives of state and central government for the development entrepreneurship, loan schemes for start up’s, Entrepreneurship Development schemes in private sectors, Industry Visit.
Inauguration of JNNCE - NewGen IEDC Premises:
On 13/02/2020 JNNCE – NewGen IEDC Premises inaugurated by Dr. C.N Ashwath Narayan, Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka.
Karnataka Tech Entrepreneurship Summit – 2020:
On 13/12/2020 to 15/02/2020 conducted Karnataka Tech Entrepreneurship Summit [ KTES-2020 ] Platform for Industry - Academia interaction, this programme has immense learning environment, invaluable motivated the upcoming innovators to take their ideas into a reality. With this event, turbulent flow of knowledge and waves to build strong start-up ecosystem and entrepreneurship spirit in Tier-2 cities and may generate employment and accelerate the economic growth of Tier-2 cities. Successful entrepreneurs, industrialist, faculties, students from various colleges.
